Behaviour
At Elmgrove Primary School and Nursery, we believe that being a values-led and Rights Respecting School underpins our whole school policy. These promote positive behaviour and develop successful and responsible citizens for the future. In the world around them, children see many different examples of how people behave. We have a responsibility to help children understand that they have choices about how to behave and help them to develop the strategies to make appropriate choices. Children learn by example. Teachers and parents have a responsibility in setting a good example as well as ensuring that the rules of being ‘ready, respectful and safe’ are followed.
